A Railfan / Busfan in the Sacramento area.

After some consideration, I've decided to delete my community post on SACRT 403. I took another look passing at the yard recently and I couldn't find any signs of damage. Until I can confirm it was involved in an accident, I will assume it is being used as a testing car with 401, 405, and 408, since I did see 403 being used as a testing car infrequently round the time period before it went out of service. Apologies for any confusion, unless if this post ages poorly which I hope is does not.

Will talk about this one time only...

Please do not involve me in your personal YouTube dramas as I do not wish to participate in them. Not naming anyone but it's not something I want to take part in.

(UPDATE: Station is still closed)

(Original) Looks like it's finally open. Wonder if there is an on-train announcement for it or if SacRT is simply unable to modify the high floor train EBIS. Could mean we won't see it until 2027 with the S700s.

A year ago on September 2nd, a truck hit Stockton & 34th's median cantilever by U-turn. The next day on the 3rd, I uploaded the first video on the channel making it a whole year of me uploading as of this week. Time flies, and I got 350 subs in a year which I didn't think I could achieve so quickly. Thank you all for your support!

It's been awhile... but rest assured I am still around. I've been posting slower than usual since I've had less time this summer to make videos. My goal at the moment is to just figure out when to film videos on a more consistent basis that works in my timeframe and to consistently upload atleast once a week. Also is a good time for me to mention we hit 350 subs, and then I lost a couple but that usually happens anyway. In fact sometimes I feel like I gain subs when I don't upload lol. But I will keep you all posted on my future posts on this channel.

20 years ago today, the first SacRT light rail video was uploaded to YouTube. A two car CAF train passes over the Sunrise Blvd bridge.

Today's bus bridge on the gold line is brought to you by: Trucks at Marketplace Ln. AGAIN. It seems the signal wasn't fully knocked down but was damaged enough to fully disrupt service. Wasn't able to get a good shot on the bus but hopefully tommorow morning I can get a better look at it.

Vandals have infiltrated SacRT's Swanston Light Rail Yard yet again. They've vandalized 116 which has been sidelined for over a year now. They previously vandalized parts car 207 back in November of last year.

A bit of an interesting update, SacRT moved 217 back to the graveyard and tucked it away so you can barely tell its there lol. In fact, the reason they moved it is because SacRT is scrapping 3 more UTDCs soon: 320, 314, and 312. I walked down Academy Way which is how I saw the numbers. I wasn't able to get the numbers of the cars that were scrapped back in October because I had school and didn't think they would scrap them at the time. I thought 217 was scrapped and those UTDC cars were put in its place lol. I also saw 134 tucked in the graveyard which has been out of service since 2016 possibly due to internal decay from a technician accident a couple years beforehand. All I could see is that a driver's window was taken out. New Swanston vid coming soon.

FYI - If you do decide to pass the yard, DO NOT ENTER IT. That is trespassing and is illegal. What you see on the train and on Academy Way are public views of the yard and any other angles are likely trespassing unless given permission. Some months back, vandals trespassed the yard and vandalized 207 (the first dead CAF car).
