I help architecture students learn the drawing skills architecture school assumes you already know.

After 15+ years in architecture and architectural education, I’m here to make drawing feel less intimidating. Drawing is a skill you can learn, not a talent you’re born with.

Here you’ll find practical tutorials on perspective drawing, architectural sketching, line weight, plans, visual communication and the fundamentals that help you draw and think like an architect. I also share advice about architecture school, studio culture, portfolios and the things nobody tells you before you start.

This channel began with my moving-to-Iceland vlogs. Now I’m returning to my roots as an architect and educator, sharing what I’ve learned along the way. If you’re studying architecture, preparing for architecture school or want to draw with more confidence, you’re very welcome here.

Hæ hæ everyone,
If you’ve been here a while, you’ll remember I used to vlog weekly - sharing my move to Iceland, getting married, and starting our family here. It was such a lovely way to document that season and connect with so many of you. ❤️

But over time, things changed. Unfortunately, some of our videos were taken and reposted without permission, including clips of our children. That was a real turning point for me, and I’ve been taking a break from YouTube ever since.

Right now, I’m not sure exactly what direction this channel will take. I am feeling a pull to align it more with my work - teaching, mentoring, and encouraging women in architecture and design. But I’m still figuring that out.
