Isaiah 53 is one of the most powerful passages in all of the Tanakh. For centuries, scholars and rabbis have wrestled with a key question:
Who is this Suffering Servant?
When you compare ancient Jewish commentaries alongside the life and ministry of Yeshua, the details line up in a way that’s hard to ignore.
We wrote a comprehensive study on this over on the site, taking a close look at the original text and its historical context.

The same theme echoes from Psalm 118 to the prophets to Yeshua: the cornerstone is often the very thing people overlook.
Maybe that's an encouragement for you today too — what feels rejected isn't outside of God's plan.

Written 700 years before Yeshua, Isaiah 53 describes One "pierced for our transgressions… by His wounds we are healed."
It's one of the most stunning prophecies in the Hebrew Scriptures and is worth reading about.
If you'd like to explore the full passage in its original context, we wrote a study on it (link pinned in the first comment).

It's easy to rush past Isaiah 53 — but slow down and let it sink in. The prophet saw the Messiah's suffering centuries before it happened, and it was all for you.
