Real health conversations, simplified.

Dr Nakora Erine

Today, I had the opportunity to attend an engaging discussion at the American Center Kampala on the impact of social media and technology on mental health.

As a Clinical Officer with a strong interest in public health and health systems, the conversation was a valuable reminder that health extends beyond the physical body. Our mental, emotional, and social well-being matter just as much.

Technology has created incredible opportunities for connection, learning, and access to information. However, it also challenges us to reflect on how we use it, particularly when it comes to our mental well-being and that of young people.

I believe conversations like these are essential in creating greater awareness, encouraging responsible digital habits, and building healthier communities.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, engage, and connect with others who are passionate about these important issues.

I recently had the opportunity to speak with HatiyaFaxyol on an important but often overlooked topic gynecomastia in men.

We discussed what gynecomastia is, some of the possible causes, when men should seek medical attention, and why conversations around men’s health matter.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share accurate health information and help make medical topics easier to understand.
