Through your ministry, you have imparted profound wisdom from God's Word. You have taught extensively on themes ranging from mercy, God's wisdom, priesthood, and kingship, to many other life-transforming truths. It is no coincidence that we frequently reference your messages on this channel.

As the manager of this channel, I vividly remember hearing about you for the very first time in 2021. That day, I had just returned home to Canada after visiting my cousin at Harvard in Boston shortly after he moved into his dorm at Currier House. When I arrived home in Canada, I called him to check in and follow up on how he was settling in. What began as a conversation about academic excellence soon turned into a discussion that would profoundly shift my mindset. I remember telling him about my great pastor, Pastor Bayo Awoleri and another great mentor, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and right there, he told me about Apostle Joshua Selman and encouraged me to listen to one of his messages. That one message eventually became 200 and beyond.

Apostle Selman was also one of the inspirations behind the creation of this channel in August 2023, which, by God's grace, has now surpassed nearly 1.1 million views and over 9,000 subscribers. It can only be by the grace of God.

I consider Apostle Selman to be one of my key mentors and inspirations in this lifetime. I have also been privileged to serve (and continue to serve) on the Koinonia Canada media team during events held in Canada, and I am always blessed to witness firsthand his humility, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to God's people.

You will forever be a blessing to me, Apostle Selman.

Below is a bit of a story of how I got to know the man of God:

I was introduced to Christ Embassy through my mom, who was a roommate of the Beloved and highly esteemed Pastor Anita around the 1990s-- they were best friends and still are best friends till this day as they call frequently (my mom's name is also Anita, so they had a tight friend group back then, hence, my mom would visit Christ Embassy in the early days).

My grandfather's house, where my mom resided, was in the same neighbourhood in Benin as Rev. Tom and Pastor Chris. My mom frequently mentioned Pastor Chris handing out flyers and tracts for evangelism from door to door and even on campus at Ambros Ali University in Benin. Pastor Chris's love for spreading the word is very inspiring.

Ever since then, my mom has been racking up Rhapsodies in our house. I still have one from 2004 lying around; even those don't fail to bless me. I still read them. I recall one rhapsody on Righteousness from 2008, which always encourages me every time that I go back to it.

Although I have a blessed church/ministry that I am a part of, and a wonderful man of God who I am blessed by, Pastor Chris has been one of my spiritual mentors for a long period, who has encouraged me in my walk of faith since 2010.

Your presence in Benin (my hometown) was a privilege, and the joy of having family in your neighbourhood only deepened our connection to the spiritual journey you've guided us on.

It is a blessing to know your ministry early on and to see it grow so mightily and strongly.

I will forever be a partner in your ministry.

I honour you and your ministry.
