⚠️ The terrorist Islamic Regime Occupying Iran is having increasing difficulties with finding the manpower necessary for another potential round of military clashes with the U.S.

Draft evasion has reached record-high levels as more and more young people turn away from the regime.

Three issues keep young men away from the military:

1. They are horrified by the idea of being ordered to open fire against anti-regime, Pro-Pahlavi protesters, as happened in January when over 40 000 innocent, unarmed Iranians were killed on the streets of cities across Iran for voicing political dissent. The number could be as high as 100,000;

2. They rightly fear that the regime will have them man an air defense system or checkpoint which could be hit by American drones, missiles or bombs at any moment they resent the Islamic regime for their lack of freedom and economic prospects;

3. The mass-killing of anti-regime Pro-Pahlavi protesters in January completely alienated Gen-Z Iranians, who bore the brunt of the Islamic Regime's violence. And the economic downturn has also mainly hit the young population which is also targeted for the draft.

Over the past decade, the purchasing power of ordinary Iranians has dropped by over 90%. Young graduates find themselves entirely shut out of stable careers, forced into low-paying gig work. Major life milestones such as buying a home, traveling or starting a family have been completely abandoned by young people.

There is also a massive generational gap with those who entered adulthood during the 1979 Islamic Revolution and lived through the brutal Iran-Iraq War.

For some in the older generation, even if they don’t support the regime overall, the regime scores goodwill points by being perceived as having protected national sovereignty and defense of the homeland against foreign invasion when Saddam Hussein’s forces invaded.

Even if they are critical of current policies, some harbor a residual psychological investment in the system they helped build or defend when they were young.

Iran's Millennials, Gen Z, young adults and potential draftees were all born after the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and know nothing but economic misery, international isolation, severe repression, and online censorship.

They have no personal connection to the 1979 Revolution or the Iran-Iraq War. For them, the regime's slogans about anti-imperialism ring hollow. All they remember are regime-orchestrated massacres of peaceful protesters, such as those earlier this year or after the killing of Mahsa Amini in 2022.

While many older Iranians own assets such as a home or land, which were acquired decades ago before the hyper-inflation of the rial, today’s young people have no hope of buying an apartment of their own and are increasingly convinced that upward mobility is practically impossible under the Islamic regime.

Why would anyone be willing to risk their life manning a checkpoint in a far-away province under such conditions? The youth of Iran know that nothing good will come from additional decades of Islamist dictatorship. They don’t want to die for the mullahs but they might just take up a rifle to fight for their freedom.

The terrorist Islamic Regime Occupying Iran knows that its days in Tehran are numbered.
