Little Country Cabin
Welcome to our log cabin homestead. The focus is a simple life centered on Christ. We are working toward a more self sustaining and healthy life by getting back to God’s creation and purpose. Knowing and growing our own food, preserving the harvest, and teaching the lost skills of generations past. Come by for a visit, sit a spell on the porch swing, enjoy a mason jar of sweet tea and some of that Mississippi hospitality. Matthew 13:23

Shout out to a sweet little channel i just discovered. If you like making your own spice and seasoning mixes I think you will find lots to love @nessasnook. Nessa is a master at making all kinds of pantry staples in bulk, keeping out the chemicals and saving you lots of money over those dinky little packets from the grocery store.
My favorite?? The Taco Seasoning!!!

ICYMI ~ You don't need an Immersion Blender to make your own mayonnaise. Before the blenders and electricity all you needed was a bowl and a fork or whisk🤗

You can always use a simple trough around the homestead. No need to purchase those awful, expensive plastic ones when you can make your own from scraps in a few minutes🤗
