My Emotional Journey to the Songs of the 80s

There are songs that don’t just play in your ears — they play in your soul.
And for me, those songs came from the 1980s.

It all began one quiet night, when I accidentally heard an old tune playing from a radio nearby.
The sound was soft, yet powerful.
The singer’s voice felt like it had lived through a thousand heartbreaks, and still had the courage to sing again.

That night, something inside me awakened.
I searched for more… and that’s when I found them — the voices of Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Billy Joel, Cyndi Lauper, Air Supply, and countless others.

Each song was like a letter written from one heart to another — filled with pain, love, and hope.
Every lyric carried a memory of someone’s laughter, someone’s tears, someone’s dream that almost came true.

As I listened, I realized… these weren’t just songs.
They were time machines, carrying me back to a world where emotions were pure and music was honest.
A world where singers didn’t chase fame — they sang because their hearts needed to be heard.

Sometimes I close my eyes and imagine standing in a smoky concert hall, hearing those voices echo through the crowd.
People holding hands, crying softly, smiling through their tears — because they understood.
They felt the same way I do now.

And I think that’s the magic of the 80s.
It wasn’t just an era of music — it was an era of feelings.
Even decades later, those songs still know how to heal a lonely soul, how to remind us of who we were, and who we still are.

Now, when life gets heavy, I go back to those melodies.
To Whitney’s trembling voice, to Billy’s storytelling, to Cyndi’s wild heart.
And for a few minutes, I forget the world — because the 80s remind me that love never truly fades.

It just becomes a song…
and plays again every time someone remembers.

Rain to heart

Life has never been easy, especially when the weight of a whole family rests on my shoulders. In the past, my parents only worked in the fields, did small trades, or labored just to put food on the table. And I, in this age of technology, chose a path that seems light on the surface but is full of challenges: being a YouTuber.

People often think this job is simple—just sit in front of a camera, record a few clips, and fame and money will come easily. But only those who walk this road know that behind every video lies a sky full of worries. By day I take care of family matters; by night I sit in front of the screen, editing, creating, exhausted to the point that my eyes burn red. There are nights when I upload a video and no one watches. My heart sinks, and I ask myself, What am I doing this for?

Yet every time I see my parents smile, every time I catch the hopeful eyes of my loved ones, I find new strength. I know that if I stay persistent, if I keep trying day after day, one day my channel will grow, bringing a more stable income, so I can support my family, so our meals won’t have to be counted coin by coin, so my parents can rest a little easier.

For me, YouTube is not just a job. It is a journey of faith and sacrifice. I give up sleep, give up personal time, all in exchange for a brighter tomorrow for my family. The road ahead is long and full of thorns, but as long as I think of the word family, every hardship turns into motivation.

That is life—full of burdens and responsibilities—but it is precisely those burdens that make us mature, that teach us to value every moment, every drop of sweat. And I believe, no matter how difficult this journey of making YouTube may be, it will become the most beautiful gift I can ever give to my family ❤️

Rain to heart

Let’s be honest: music production sounds glamorous. You imagine yourself in a studio, dim lights, neon glow, sipping coffee from a cup that says “Genius at Work”. In reality? It’s more like sitting in front of a laptop at 3 a.m., arguing with a snare drum.

First step: gear obsession. You’ll spend hours researching microphones that cost more than your rent, only to record vocals in your bedroom closet under a blanket because “the acoustics are better.”

Second step: DAW drama. (Digital Audio Workstation, a.k.a. the software where magic happens… or doesn’t.) FL Studio, Ableton, Logic Pro—pick one. Doesn’t matter which. Eventually, you’ll swear they’re all conspiring against you. Your track sounds amazing at night, but by morning, it sounds like a cat playing piano underwater.

Third step: endless plugins. Compressors, EQs, reverbs, autotune—each promising to “fix your mix instantly.” Spoiler alert: they don’t. But hey, at least you can make your vocals sound like a robot from the future.

And finally, the mix. Ah yes, balancing instruments so the bass doesn’t eat the vocals, while the hi-hats don’t sound like frying pans. This is the stage where most producers lose their sanity. You’ll swear you’ve created a masterpiece, then play it in your car and suddenly it sounds like two squirrels fighting inside a tin can.

But here’s the truth: that’s the magic of music production. It’s messy, frustrating, hilarious, and totally addictive. You spend hours chasing the “perfect sound,” only to realize perfection doesn’t exist—groove does. And once you hear that final bounce? Pure euphoria.

So yeah, being a music producer isn’t all glitz and glamour. It’s coffee, chaos, and clicking “undo” about 7,000 times. But if you love music, it’s the most fun you’ll ever have pulling your hair out. 🎶
