Here's what's great about her story, she challenged herself to wear only clothes she made herself in March of that year, but she wasn't very successful. She tried again in May and 💥 it hasn't stopped yet. ⁣⁣

Of all things that have sold out during this pandemic (Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, flour...)I would have NEVER thought a sewing machine would be one of them.

When I saw on Instagram that Messiner's in Sacramento received a new shipment of sewing machines, I had to order one!

I got this machine so that I can answer the question- ”What's a good sewing machine for beginners?"- with fresh, up to date info.

I get the question about which sewing machine to suggest for beginners quite a bit. Sewing machines are hard to find these days, so I didn't want to miss out on this one!

Baby Lock is one brand that I have never sewn on before, so I am extra excited to try It.⁣ There will definitely be videos coming about this machine! ⁣⁣

Finding the problem to a machine issue is something like playing detective 🔍 . You need to know what to look for and ask the right questions.⁣
A short list of things to ask when trying to find the source of the problem is: ⁣
❓Is my needle damaged or bent? ⁣
❓Is this the correct needle for this fabric?⁣
❓ Is the bobbin area clean?⁣
❓ Is the needle inserted correctly?⁣
If all of this checks out, it's possible that the machine needs to be serviced. ⁣
