Born to Chinese and Jamaican parents just out of Watford, she began making music by borrowing her brother’s Logic: teaching herself how to produce songs in secret from her classmates. Griff is the type of curiosity and creativity that draws no boundaries between making beats, sewing your own clothes, or shooting a music video. And whilst it's easy to forget, Griff's rawly vulnerable lyrics are a vivid reminder of how young she still is.
Alongside releasing the official song for the Disney Christmas TV advert 'Love Is A Compass' (supporting Make-A-Wish), Griff writes acutely observed tracks on friendship (1,000,000 X Better), mental health ('Say It Again'), those stinging formative breakups (Forgive Myself) and the importance of family (Good Stuff is a moving account of Griff’s family fostering kids). In Griff's hands, all these experiences are are turned into something uniformly positive, and make her particular model of bedroom pop feel fitting for a legion of young girls to follow.

hello from the airplane toilet!! America &Canada leg of my tour has finished and I miss it lots already . first time properly touring America like that and I’m so blessed to have met you all. Went home for 2 days, worked on a song, did a months load of laundry, repacked some new shiny tour outfits and now I’m on a flight to Nashville to join Sabrina on tour. With me luck!!!
