Mastering craps means treating every roll as a live statistical update, allowing you to adjust exposure and odds as probabilities shift. At 4D Craps, we teach players to interpret each roll as a change in table state and respond with structured protocols that rebalance position, reduce risk, and expand positive opportunities. This approach rests on three pillars: low variance, consistency through disciplined winning bets, and scalability as bankroll grows. By avoiding situations like inflated Effective House Edge, Bet Diluting, and single-roll strategy killers, you maintain stable expectation and reinforce your position with probability-aligned adjustments. This system moves you toward Game Theory Optimal play—where every roll triggers deliberate, strategically coherent actions to generate consistent wins and control variance.

A player who claims that every strategy has been played and tried may have a little bit of iron cross syndrome.

Tilt is not caused by losing. Tilt is caused by not understanding expectancy.

A 7 has a 1-in-6 chance, or 16.67%, of appearing on any random roll. That also means there is an 83.33% chance that the next roll will not be a 7. So avoiding the 7 for several rolls isn't unusual—it is something random dice regularly do.
This is where dice-control claims can become misleading. A shooter might throw 10, 15, or even 20 rolls before sevening out and believe their throwing technique caused it. But long rolls happen naturally because the 7 isn't expected on every roll. It's only one of every six outcomes on average.

“A simulator is confined to the structure it is programmed to follow. It can simulate random dice outcomes, but it cannot independently reproduce a player's dynamic decision-making when those decisions are based on constantly changing random events. The simulator follows the rules; the player responds to the randomness."

Baccarat isn't a coin flip simply because its main bets have a low house edge. A coin flip is an independent binary event with no drawing rules or changing composition. Baccarat has Player and Banker drawing rules, ties, cards removed from a finite shoe, and probabilities that change as the shoe changes. Banker and Player may produce results close to 50/50, but the mechanism producing those results is far more complex than a coin flip.

The goal of Craps Basic Strategy is not to eliminate risk—that's impossible. The goal is to control exposure, protect your bankroll, and build positions where the potential reward outweighs the additional risk.

If your strategy cannot succeed with flat betting, it is probably the strategy that needs to change—not your bet size.
