Hey bunnrings~! 🐰 Our friends have just made us aware that they have been seeing increased ad frequency on our YouTube videos. I'm truly grateful that they told us about this. I would never want ads to affect our bunnrings' viewing pleasure. 🙏🏼

For those of you who have noticed the increase in the number and frequency of ads, we sincerely apologize... I just ticked "Automatic" and "Show mid-roll ads" without checking. But thankfully, now that I've been informed, I will manually check all videos and livestreams VODs. 😊 This will take a couple of days.

I wish YouTube would directly inform us whenever they would increase the number of ads on your videos/VODs... I know for sure that they increased it just recently because, upon checking a couple of minutes ago, I saw that our ad revenue *doubled* for the month of June without much change in the frequency in video uploads or livestreams. The only change we made is that we added Monday night streams, although these are more on a conditional basis (depending on our health and how busy we are that week), and one additional live per week most probably wouldn't have mattered, so it is YouTube itself putting more ads on the videos/livestream VODs that made our ad revenue double.

As you can see, in the picture below, a 1-hour-and-7-minute video had a total of 19 ads, with some appearing only 2-4 minutes apart.

I'll strive to make sure that only 3-5 ads appear in every video, depending on video length, of course. I also want them to appear between 15-20 minutes apart. I feel like this is a good, balanced ratio.

Again, thanks for your understanding! I'll make sure this doesn't happen to future videos and livestreams! Setting ads manually will make sure YouTube *never* messes with our ad frequency again! 🥰
