I don’t livestream like most do, instead I record long videos (30-60mins, sometimes longer) my commentary with no cuts. What you see is what was there, what you hear were the real sounds. The only edits are the date, airport code, runway, the channel logo, and footage quality.

All is done to produce the best livestream-like footage for you to watch whenever. We call these “Commentaries”, and I aim to provide you with one that premiers and airs usually every Sunday at 12pm if that Sunday is a Commentary.

As of November 3rd 2026, a new feature will be added to Commentaries.

Each Commentary will have in the comments pinned, specific arrivals and departures filmed. So you can just click, and jump straight to any specific arrival or departure of even a go around or an aborted takeoff you never know.

Only the highlights will be time stamped. Unusual takeoff, landing, a go around, an aborted takeoff. Will all be time stamped.

If there’s a Commentary without anything that stood out, then that Commentary won’t have any time stamps.

This is just to see if you like it, it’s not official unless you tell me. Testing the waters.

🔴NOTE: I’ll be doing this myself without help, so apologies if any time stamps are wrong or mixed up. It WILL annoy me I’m quite a perfectionist with this channel😅

As strong winds slice through the southwest of England, rain pouring heavy, it’s making its way through to Crawley, meaning it’s going to hit London Gatwick Airport.

🔴PREPARE YOURSELVES:

This will be the FIRST storm on ED PLANES UK, with pretty heavy rain and stronger winds than we’ve ever seen since last year! And it’s DEFINITELY a Commentary.

🔵OUR POSITION:

We’ll be filming from the Crashgate, catching close of 26L departures and arrivals during this INTERESTING weather.

It’s not usual to see crosswinds on ED PLANES UK. Out of pure luck, we caught wind on a random Sunday. The reason it wasn’t a Saturday will be explained when the Commentary airs.

I desperately needed more caps because I only have the blue one. But now I have new caps (still a blue one) but the new design.
