Collective Consciousness Theatre (CCT) is a multicultural theatre company dedicated to social change based in New Haven, Connecticut. The company was founded in 2007 by Dexter J. Singleton and Elizabeth Hinz. Our productions and original works are designed to educate, break barriers, and build community by exploring themes such as social justice, poverty, stereotypes, ethnic and gender identity, and more. Theatre is a powerful art form that can inspire others, help them to imagine the possibilities, and push them to ignite social change. We believe the theatre has the power to change minds, open hearts, and unlock doors.
