Finally getting back out recently, a couple Chester Sub outings including a 66mph ZG4MQ as well as a southern pacific patch. A couple miscellaneous trains on the Jeff City, as well as an H1 GP38-2 leading 816 on the Cuba.

Been gathering footage for the video I’m working on which is turning out to be more difficult than expected with the lack of traffic and road construction along I70 making it very difficult to chase. But definitely had quite the day on the St. Louis District today. Chased NS 1776 leading 224. Caught it at Bridgeton, St. Peter’s, Wright City, and High Hill. Definitely a solid start.

Just under two days in La Plata, Multiple 70s and a 71. Too bad it was overcast and raining the entire time but action didn’t disappoint at all.

Today’s chase of the Big Boy on my home line this time! Made a last ditch attempt to not be near anyone in Eureka and hiked to what came out to be my best shot of the day!

Spent some time on the springfield sub for once today. Left the house around 4am to beat Amtrak 300 to Girard. Ended the day with a 60mph ZG4MQ, 110, 112, and 109mph Amtrak, a Coal off the Beardstown, and catching the Big Boy 4014 four times between Girard IL and St. Louis. Overall a great day!

8 train morning on the Chester Sub yesterday morning with ‪@jcsrailfan‬ ‪@BNSFRailProductions‬ ‪@RobsHornRepair‬ and @RiverCityRails Once again ZMNNP and ZG4MQ were crawling for whatever reason 😭 Hope to go back tomorrow. Seems to be a never ending cycle of MOW lately.
