Philanthropy has the same ambition. Problems that have lasted generations need more than incremental improvements. They call for new approaches, fresh thinking and the willingness to take on challenges at scale.
The Tata Trusts have put this belief into practice through numerous initiatives chief among them being a technology-led programme to screen Indians across the country for non-communicable diseases, and a network of 17 cancer care centres in Assam, placed closer to where patients live. The Trusts remain committed to scaling their efforts and deepening their impact.
