BATHORY & QUORTHON - THE LAST SKALD OF THE NORTH 🔥

Few artists in the history of Extreme Metal have left a legacy as influential and timeless as Quorthon and BATHORY did. What started in the early 80s as a raw and primitive expression of darkness would eventually shape entire genres and inspire generations of musicians across Black Metal, Viking Metal and the entire Extreme scene.

From the chaos and aggression of the early years to the epic and atmospheric masterpieces that followed, Quorthon created far more than just music. He built an entire mythos that still lives on today.

A fan-made project has completely reimagined IRON MAIDEN’s legendary “Somewhere in Time” album as a neon-soaked 80s synthpop/synthwave experience! Imagine classic MAIDEN melodies combined with:

⚡ vintage synthesizers
⚡ atmospheric pads
⚡ retro drum machines
⚡ cinematic 80s vibes

....inspired by bands and artists like A-ha, Depeche Mode, New Order, Pet Shop Boys and Tears for Fears.
Honestly, I LOVE hearing classic albums reinterpreted in completely different musical styles. Years ago, projects like this required huge effort and creativity, now AI makes these experiments much more accessible, and the results can be surprisingly fascinating.
