Big changes are coming to Inspector Toolbelt.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll begin rolling out the next generation of the Inspector Toolbelt app — rebuilt to give us a stronger foundation for the future while keeping everything you already rely on today.
The new app includes deeper AI integration, new features, improvements throughout the platform, and an entirely new technical foundation that will allow our team to develop, test, and release new features faster and more thoroughly.
Most importantly:
**Your Inspector Toolbelt data isn’t changing.**
The new app uses the same data you already have in Inspector Toolbelt. Your templates, clients, inspection information, notifications, agreements, settings, and other setup will all be there.
There is no need to rebuild your account or recreate anything you’ve already set up.
We also know that major software changes can take some getting used to.
That’s why the current Inspector Toolbelt app will remain available to existing users. You can continue using it, and we will continue supporting it.
At the same time, you’ll have access to the new Inspector Toolbelt and all of the new features and improvements that come with it.
You can make the transition at the pace that works best for you.
We’ve also built an all-new Knowledge Base and will be providing videos, webinars, help documentation, and one-on-one training to help everyone get comfortable with the new app.
And one more important update:
As Inspector Toolbelt continues to grow, pricing for **new customers** will be increasing.
Beginning December 1, 2026, new Inspector Toolbelt Pro accounts will be:
$99/month for the primary inspector
$69/month for each additional inspector
If you’re already an Inspector Toolbelt customer, **you are grandfathered in at your current pricing. Your price is not increasing as part of this change.**
Anyone who signs up for Inspector Toolbelt Pro before December 1st can also receive the current $79/month Pro rate.
There is a lot packed into the next generation of Inspector Toolbelt, and this is only the beginning of what we’ll be able to build from here.
Our goal has always been to make Inspector Toolbelt better for the inspectors who use it every day, and this new version gives us the platform we need to do that faster and better than ever before.
