Hello everyone, I am Teresa and welcome to my channel!
I help you regulate your nervous system through somatics. As a trauma-centered somatic practitioner and breath therapist, my journey includes transforming personal challenges into wisdom. I´ve evolved through my own trauma, trials and errors, which now empower me to offer guidance and support to others navigating their own transformations.
You are right here...
...if you struggle with panic attacks or any other anxiety (disorder) and want to break free. This is the obstacle I had to overcome and I know how it feels to hit rock bottom.
...if you are stuck in your thoughts, behaviors and patterns. My approach is "out of the mind, into the body". Talk therapy is not the holy grail - yes, I said it.
...if you feel lost and need help navigating through your inner work / healing journey.
...if you want to learn about breathwork, somatics, nervous system regulation and trauma care.

Little reminder!!!
Starting September 1st, we’re doing Somatic Curiosity inside Echoes of Safety.
And this is not going to be 30 days of “here is another regulation exercise, good luck.” We’re getting curious.
I’m not going to tell you too much yet, because part of the fun is discovering it as we go but there will be things in this series we’ve never done before and I’m very, very excited about it.
If you’ve been thinking about joining the community, September might be a very good time: www.skool.com/echoes-of-safety/about

A little end of summer sale for my fellow nervous system nerds. ❤️❤️❤️
Until August 31, the annual subscription to my paid Substack is available at a special price.
Deeper research, more nuance, scientific rabbit holes, and all the conversations that don’t fit into a video.

Something new is coming to Echoes of Safety on September 1st. 👀
For 30 days, we’re going to show up together for a short daily somatic practice. The whole series is designed around curiosity rather than getting it “right” exploring different ways of being with your nervous system.
If you’ve been wanting to actually practice nervous system regulation consistently instead of collecting another 400 saved videos you swear you’ll come back to, this is your invitation.
Somatic Curiosity starts September 1st inside my community which currently starts at $19/month.
Come join us here ❤️❤️❤️

We talk a lot about “rewiring the nervous system”… but what does that actually mean inside the brain?
I went deep into the neuroscience of neuroplasticity for my newest article: what repetition actually changes, why sleep matters, why old patterns can return, and what research tells us about how long measurable change can take.
If you’ve ever wondered what is actually happening when you practice nervous system regulation, this one is for you. ❤️❤️❤️

I need to say something because this has been happening repeatedly in my comment section and quite frankly, I find it ridiculous.
I’m not going to name the creator or the quiz because this isn’t about publicly calling someone out. It’s about a behavior I’m seeing over and over again.
There is a huge difference between genuinely recommending someone whose work helped you and repeatedly using another creator’s comment section to promote someone else’s quiz, program, account or product. And this is not a one-time comment. I keep seeing the same thing being pushed underneath my videos. At some point, that stops looking like a genuine recommendation and starts looking like promotional work piggybacking off somebody else’s reach. It’s spam. And yes, I find that incredibly disrespectful. Creators spend years building their platforms. Researching. Filming. Editing. Showing up. Building trust with their audience. To then use somebody else’s comment section as free advertising because that creator has reach? Come on.
I won’t name anyone, and I have no interest in sending people after anybody. But I started removing these comments when I see them.
Please recommend resources when they are genuinely relevant. Mention people whose work has helped you. That has never bothered me. We are all in this together and we all benefit from recommendations within the field. But repeatedly promoting the same person, product or funnel underneath somebody else’s work is something entirely different. My comment section is a place for conversation. It is not free advertising space.

Hey fam👋🏼 I wrote a new article about something I keep seeing in the comments:
“Why don’t I cry, shake, or have a big emotional release?”
I went into the actual research behind catharsis, trauma processing and what progress may really look like.
Is “Release” Really the Goal of Somatic Healing?

I keep seeing this take:
“Stop trying to regulate your nervous system. It regulates itself.”
And technically… yes.
But that doesn’t mean intentional practices are pointless. The real conversation is about the difference between automatic regulation, influencing physiology, and constantly trying to “fix” every uncomfortable state.
I unpacked the science in my newest Substack.

I was afraid of my anger for years.
Recently, my relationship with it started changing in a way I didn’t expect.
So I wrote about what anger is actually for, why we suppress it, and what the science says about learning to experience it differently.
