The One About Remebering Who the F@&k I AM!
I am finally remembering who the fuck I am. The moment of realization has finally arrived where my soul is ready to speak, to live, to grow, to share, and I am done with playing small.
I have been frozen in fear for a long time, and the weight of other people’s words has kept me quiet and small for far too long. I have been living and hiding in this world filled with fear. But the truth is that I am still here! I’ve lived, I”ve learned, and I’ve grown.
I have decided to show up for myself again. Not for validation. Not for likes, but because I believe our stories, our pain, our joy, or failures, our success, and our lessons matter.
Showing up for myself is not just about me. It is also about being a positive example for my children, grandson and future grandchildren, who are my world. They have watched me at my highest highs and my lowest lows. No, they didn’t only watch, at times they lived through it with me. I want them to see that it’s never too late to rise again. That it’s never too late to fight for your dreams, and to always refuse to stay small to make those around us feel comfortable. By honoring myself, I honor them, and my parents. In fact, I honor every single person who has shared a moment with me.
This is me taking the first step. This is me starting again. With honesty. With courage. With love.
