Anybody can stay committed while the route is clear, the wind is calm and everything goes according to plan.
But what happens when life throws up a barricade?
The plan collapses.
The conditions turn against you.
The wind starts kicking like a mule.
The easy excuse to quit suddenly sounds reasonable.
That is when the truth comes out.

The road was closed.
The weather pushed back.
The wind fought me mile after mile.
But an obstacle does not get to decide how your story ends.
Your response does.
You may need to slow down.
You may need to reroute.
You may need to throw away the original plan and build another one while you are tired, frustrated and standing in the middle of uncertainty.
That is not quitting.
That is adapting.
That is discipline.
That is what commitment looks like after motivation disappears.
