Just posted the latest BlackWater episode, and YouTube decided to age restrict it. I managed to get the restriction lifted but the views have dropped by 90% (cry), so if you're willing and able to give this one a little extra love with a like, comment and plenty of watch time, I will be forever grateful.
FRIENDS 👋 I'm about to interview the scientist that discovered the deepest swimming fish ever recorded. He's personally been down to 10,000+m in a submersible.
It seems we missed the mark on our last two videos, and I'd love to know why...
What was it about our last two videos that you feel was missing, or different from the squid video? What did you subscribe for? What would you like to see more of?
Constructive and brutal criticism welcome - I've got skin tougher than that of the toughest squid-hunting sperm whale, so do your worst!!
FRIENDS 👋 what are your biggest, burning questions about the deep ocean? Anything that doesn't make sense? Anything you're convinced scientists are wrong about?
Let me know and I'll start digging 🧐
New video in the works now (hint: 💣 🌊 ☠️ - 10 points for best guess!)
FRIENDS 👋 10,000 subs and 1 million views in 3 days(!!!!)
Consider this mind officially blown 🤯
A huge thank you to those of you who took a chance on a new channel, and to the team behind BlackWater, Jon (Sound), Kaelyn (Script) and Asher (Edit) who helped bring this vision to life!!
I've read your comments, and I hear ya loud and clear:
1. No more feet and inches 2. Scripts are researched and written by BlackWater's fantastic scriptwriter, Kaelyn (ex-BBC) 3. Get the next vid out asap!! (If you're desperate for another, go check out my other channel @barnydillarstone - sorry about the feet)
Thumbnail for next vid (nearly finished) below, and many more in the works. 10 points to whoever can guess the title...
