A weekend in Lisbon with Junto Travel and a gorgeous group of community leaders for the founding trip 💜
The best thing about these kinds of trips is being able to just show up and have your entire itinerary planned out for you. Some of the really fun things we got up to were:

Sunset river cruise
Surf lesson on Costa da Caparica
Traditional Fado dinner experience

3 weeks in Thailand

There's no new videos from me this week unfortunately! I was away for 3 beautiful weeks, and I am now home and catching up on things. So there'll be new videos from this Saturday onwards and then we're back to the usual schedule. Do you have anything in particular that you'd like to see me share over the next couple of months? I'm in planning mode at the moment so let me know in the comments below and I'll add in as many of your ideas as possible.

My first time solo thru-hiking and packing to sustain myself for 4 days!
I planned my route around having somewhere each day to get a meal on trail to limit the amount of food I had to carry. I was also very lucky with a completely dry and warm weather forecast so I didn't have to pack very many layers - this is exceptionally rare for hiking in Ireland 😆
I felt very comfortable and happy carrying this weight for the distances I was doing each day, even with an extra 2 kg of water weight. I've been slowly upgrading my kit with second-hand gear to reduce the weight, but it is still not considered an "ultralight" set-up by any means.

Next year, on July 3rd 2027, I'll be meeting up with a group in Tanzania, to hike to the summit of Kilimanjaro - and I'd love for you to be in that group!
Together with @FollowAlice and their amazing mountain crew in Tanzania, we'll spend 8 days hiking along the Lemosho route to reach the summit at 5895m.

I just spent 6 days hiking and hammock camping around Glaskogen Nature Reserve with @hammockhaveneu
We hiked between 6 and 14 kilometres a day, stopping for lunch along the way and spending the night at the designated areas by the lakes, just sitting around campfires and sharing adventure stories. Glaskogen is Sweden's most southernly wilderness, and your entry permit cost goes towards the amazing maintenance of the area and the campsites you get to use. We slept among the trees, filtered water from the lakes, cooked dinner on the fire and even made eye contact with a moose.
Daniël and Ruben from Hammock Haven are incredibly passionate about the outdoors, and hammock camping in particular, and have these trips organised down to a T. If you're still looking for an adventure this summer, especially if you feel like trying something brand new, I highly recommend checking out their Sweden trips.
