You keep searching for God as if He is far away. As if He is hidden somewhere beyond the sky, waiting for you to reach Him one day. But the truth has always been the opposite. God says He is closer to you than your jugular vein. Closer than your breath. Closer than your own thoughts.

You don’t move toward God by traveling far. You move toward Him by becoming still. By listening. By removing the noise that keeps you distracted from what is already present. The distance you feel is not real distance. It is attention placed everywhere except where it matters.

When you pause, when you become aware of your inner state, you begin to notice something subtle. A presence that was never absent. A closeness that does not come and go. God is not found by effort alone, but by recognition. By realizing that He was with you in every fear, every tear, every silent moment you thought you were alone.

You don’t need to become someone new to reach Him. You only need to return to who you already are beneath the noise. The One you are searching for is already near. Stop running. Turn inward. And recognize what has always been there.
