About 130 days ago I made the decision to walk away from masturbation for good
It came down to a lot of self reflection and ultimately embracing a certain identity
The identity of a leader, with consequences at stake if I relapse
I learned that if I want to tap into the best version that God has set for me, it’s all about leaving the old identity behind and embracing the new one through Christ
And for me, masturbation was one of those satanic chains holding me in my old identity, not wanting me to reach what God wants me to walk in

Before semen retention, I was a slave to lust, indulging in sin and deceiving myself to justify my desires.
The Bible describes the serpent as crafty. Sometimes, we become snakes ourselves, slithering through life ruled by our own lust.
But a snake must shed its skin to grow.
I’m shedding my old identity and becoming the man God intended me to be.
The goal isn’t just to resist lust. It’s to become a man who is no longer ruled by it.
