I think from now on I’m going to actually make longer cuts of these videos that I can actually reference the music in a very fair use way, and leave them on Patreon and put the censored cuts on YouTube. I hate it, but idk what else to do 🤷♂️ giving a sketchy company the ad revenue of my video because of a loophole YouTube ignores is super frustrating. I've always really appreciated Ryan's thoughtfulness when discussing and dissecting gear. Also, as someone who says "um" and "like" way too much, It's very impressive that he can talk with such fluency. 🤣
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME... If you're wondering why I never play other bands riffs, especially in the tone quest videos... This is why. Some of the claimed portions were for less then 5 seconds of me playing the riff and they want they ad revenue for the entire video. 🫠
I'm going to be uploading the full uncensored videos on Patreon from now on, if you want to see all the context, it really sucks having to work around this every time.
It's crazy because I have friends that post videos of song medleys and never have issues. I must be on some watch list or something 🥸
