It was a momentous occasion yesterday, when Swami Vedanta Desikan at Toopul (Sri Kanchi) was in the alankara of Sri Ramachandra, and I had the opportunity to deliver a discourse on ‘Sri Kamasikashtakam’, that too, to the astikas of this kshetra. Among those present were Villur Sri VSK Swami, Navalpakkam Sri Vasudevachariar Swami & Sri Satakopa Tatachar Swami 🙏🏽

Besides my regular discourses (upanyasam/pravachanams), I have been blessed to collaborate with eminent sangeeta Vidwans & Vidushis to present Harikathas! There is another world that I have been fortunate enough to know, learn & collaborate! It is the world of NATYA! I have curated, scripted, and produced 6 mega productions till now. I have narrated for 11 productions. I have presented over 50 katha-nrityams! And been the guest of honour to 100+ arangetrams 😃! All these were possible because of the eminent Natya gurus whom I have partnered with, in the last 15+ years. I can only pay my obeisances to them 🙏🏽 for all that I have learnt from them!

Here is the next production that DESIKA DAYA is presenting titled ‘ENDARO MAHANUBHAVULU’. Yet again, I am honoured to have the veteran guru Smt ‪@AnithaGuhasBharathanjali‬ who has been working on this production for the last 20 months! Her dedication and sincerity as the choreographer and leader is truly adorable. And her students are a storehouse of talent ❤️! We are fortunate to work with a supremely talented duo - Dr Rajkumar Bharati & Sai Shravanam. Needless to mention, I have worked on 12 projects with them! The parents and well-wishers of DESIKA DAYA & BHARATHANJALI are plenty. Their contribution is immeasurable! DESIKA DAYA, the charitable trust has been operational for the last 12 years. Sri Subhash Ganeshan has spearheaded all these charitable initiatives with sheer love for dharma! We are thankful to the sponsors as well 💐

Blessed are certain moments! One of our Desika Daya Patashala sishyas - Kum.Ramani submitted the entire Gita in her handwriting, as a tribute to the Paramatman, and dedicated this to me, as a blessing!
Incidentally, I received the blessings of Sri Puthige Muth Acharya last year & I spoke about this lekhana yajna (unaware that I will be blessed a year later 💐). I am extremely confident that we have very positive generations ahead who will strengthen our dharma!

* Performed a nritya-harikatha in English with Anahita, Apoorva & Smrithi for Rotary Club of Temple Trails in Chennai
* Delivered a discourse for Poornashakti for Senior Living in Chennai
* Delivered the keynote address on IKS at the DG Vaishnav College Arumbakkam in Chennai
* Delivered a discourse series on Narayaneeyam for Unnati in Bengaluru
* Shared the stage with Dr Balu (of NITI Aayog) for his book-release & had lively conversation on the same with him in Bengaluru

A weekend to cherish!
* Delivered a discourse on a work titled ‘Bhakti Drishtanta Mala’ authored by my acharya, Sri U Ve Dr ‪@srinadadoorammal‬ V S Karunakarachariar Swamy, at his 79th Tirunakshatram Celebrations
* Inaugurated the showroom of Srishti in Kanchipuram
* Visited a patashala that has been teaching Shukla Yajurveda for over 120 years now, and interacted with the vidyarthis there!
* Had darshan of Perundevi Thayar & Devaraja Perumal in their Pavitrotsavam, and of Vilakkoli Perumal & Swami Desikan, at Toopul kshetra
* Had darshan of Kanchi Periyava at Orikkai where HH is observing chaturmasya, and had the fortune to talk to him for over 3 full hours!

In 2018, we had organised a yatra to Muktinath in Nepal (which is one of the 108 Divya Desams). It was a large group. We had a wonderful darshan. But followed after that was painful! Sudden floods in Ghantaki, bridges broke and there was landslide. The villagers were extremely helpful and we sought asylum in a shed. We reached out to the GOI, and the next day, we were all evacuated in helicopters. We remain grateful to the GOI for this timely help. BUT, in front of the Himalayas, we are NOTHING! May there be peace to our friends in Nepal!
