You ask, I deliver...

From the Start, originally by Laufey, coming soon🤍
I am so excited to share this project with all of you. It has been hard to get back into the covering scene, but I couldn't be happier to announce my return.

Hello everyone!

It has been a while since I posted on here. First of all, my apologies for the sudden radio silence. Life happened and I had to make some difficult choices in terms of prioritising certain activities over others. Sadly, this meant taking a break from my YouTube channel, despite my love and passion for the field of music.

As some of you know, I am currently doing a double masters degree in clinical and positive psychology. This is one of the main reasons for my year of inactivity on here. I was set to graduate the upcoming academic year, getting my degree in 2026; I would just have to finish writing my thesis and do my final internship. However, a few days ago the news reached me that my internship has been canceled. Although I am absolutely gutted this means I will not be able to graduate, I am trying to give a positive spin to the situation. Thus, I will spend a portion of my free time working on new projects for this channel.

I cannot express how grateful I am to any of you who has stuck around on this channel, waiting for my return. Music was my first love, with me trying to sing before I could even talk, or giving "concerts" in my living room to family members back when I was still in kindergarten. Being able to get behind my microphone and pour my feelings into my music might just be the thing that helped me hold my head above the water during some of the most difficult times of my life. Life may knock me to the ground, but music will always help me get back up. At the end of the day, that is why I sing. I might not be the best at it, but it is what makes me happiest.

I cannot wait to sing for you again and will see you guys again soon. Thank you all for the support on my channel so far!

Lots of love,
Esmay

Hi everyone!! I hope you're all doing well :)

The past months have been a bit quiet on my channel, with only one collab releasing. Aside from going on vacation, I have also been struggling a lot with my health - and I still am. I've been sick for nearly two months now and do not know when I will be fully up and running again. I definitely do not want to desert my channel, though. There are a few projects I am working on which I promise will be released soon.
- A short version of a song I promised to release a while ago
- A full length version of a Dutch song
- A bunch of collaborations with my lovely friends

I'd like to thank you for your patience and I hope you'll have an amazing day or night!

A veeeeeery long time ago, I posted a cover on this channel. I loved the song and decided to give it a shot, despite not being fully comfortable with uploading covers on my channel yet and still having to figure out lots of things.

Last month, I gathered a bunch of talented singers to record a remake of this cover with me. The collaboration is coming out this summer and is going to be incredibly fun and upbeat.

Can you guess the song?

Last week, I had the amazing opportunity to join the making of a video posted by the Dutch themepark the Efteling, in which we are sending our support to Joost Klein (the Dutch Eurovision Song Contest entry of this year)🎢🤍 It was so much fun to combine my love for the park and my love for music and Eurovision, so feel free to check it out below! 🇳🇱❤️

My next collab will be the BIGGEST collab yet on my channel! But which song will it be?

Crush with 11 members, Secret Story of the Swan with 12 members or Another Dream with a whooping 18 members? Or perhaps I have been planning to release all of them, in order of debut?

Stick around and find out soon!

Currently editing the thumbnail for my new cover! (Yes, I actually edit everything in PowerPoint, haha)

It's finally time to release a new cover in my Classics series. This time it's going to be Smooth Operator by Sade! I might sneak in some Formula 1 footage in the video, considering this song is associated with a driver I really adore. Expect this video to drop within the next few days, depending on how fast I can get the editing done :)

P.S. Yes, Killer Queen is coming soon! In the previous polls the original instrumental got the most votes, so I'll be using that for the cover. I'm using the original instrumental for the cover of Smooth Operator as well; in addition to that, I'll be making the harmonies a bit louder than the original song has them, because I thought it'd be fun to show them off since the chorus is so heavy on them.

Have a nice day and see you soon!

Hi cuties!! I hope you're all doing well :) I just wanted to make a little post for everyone who is subscribed to me for my non k-pop covers.

I am currently working on a cover of Killer Queen by Queen, but I have to admit I totally underestimated this song. I am slooowly but steadily making progress, though! I just want to make sure the cover is decent enough before I upload it. I have also been playing around with different arrangements. I am not very good at picking the one I enjoy most, so feel free to share your input with me!

I have used piano arrangements for all of my previous covers of classics (Beth, Can't Help Falling in Love, Fly Me to the Moon and Jolene), except for my cover of Love Gun, which was a combination of drums and me playing bass. It could be fun to change it up a bit for this cover, but if you guys prefer me sticking to the piano theme for this one I'd gladly do that as well!

Thank you for your patience and have a wonderful day!

Wife has officially become the first video on my channel to hit 2000 views. That's a lot! Thank you so much to everyone who watched Chia and me perform our version of this song :D Singing has always been something that made me incredibly happy and the fact 2000 people have checked out this cover is something I simply cannot comprehend.

More videos are coming soon, so stay tuned! (Hint: the next upcoming video is a duet of a song by IVE ;))

One thing about me...

Is that I am a huge perfectionist 🤭 I was not fully satisfied with my Starchild make up, so I decided to give the Demon a shot too. Although it still does not look the way I want it to, I think it's time to accept the way it looks and start editing the video with the material I have right now.

Thank you for being so patient! Hopefully I can upload the video soon 🥰
