This is a channel about and for writing. I'm here to establish an online presence as a writer but also just make some decent content on the subject of writing. I, Blake Lavington, am a new author myself. At the time of creating this channel I had one book called "The Trick" available on Amazon, but I plan to also give updates and talk about the books I am working on here.
As for my content itself, I try to focus on saying what hasn't been said yet. I don't want to end up just echoing what has already been stated. If I'm doing my job right, you should be able to count on me to say something you haven't heard before.
I also try to talk about stories in a way that encourages you to think critically about the pieces that make it come together and the messages that a story is putting forward.

Hey guys. Sorry I dipped after promising another TADC video. I turned this into a job and I needed it to be a passiona again, so I worked on my book for 2 months and, though I am coming back now, it's going to be something vastly different to start off.
Right now, I'm a few minutes into editing what I'm likely going to call...
A Terrible Role-Play of Steelsonging Silk Souls : Escaping the Basement
It is my attempting to Steelsoul Silksong all the way to 100% for the steam achievement, but I'm roleplaying it as "escaping the basement," along with throwing in a bit of new, confusing lore...hopefully to great comedic effect.
This should help me turn making videos back into a passion, and if it works to any degree I'll probably keep making them, but I do have a Gaslight District video script ready to go and I'm excited to share my experience with the pilot so far.
As for that TADC Torture Video, I'm not sure I'll ever finish it. It's half-recorded and fully written, but I'm just not sure if I can pick that project back up after all this time.
Sincerest apologies, Mr. ThisGuy.

Lately I've been taking time to work on my next book while I think about what to do next, knowing there' only so much more TADC I can do. Throw me a vote for what you think I should do next!

Quick! Vote on a thumbnail! The title of the next video, coming out at the top of the next hour, is
"To Both Criticize AND Defend Episode 9"
What do you think is the best thumbnail for it? I'm short on time for this and am terrible at making thumbnailsš

Just wanted to make a post to thank the commenters. You guys are what help a video get promoted to more people and keep the conversations about these topics going.
Right now, Iām still working on my next video about episode 9 (which may be a controversial one), and I wanted to just say that as long as you can do so respectfully, I love to argue with people in the comments. Itās honestly one of my favorite past times to respond to these kinds of things.
I love the fact that Iāve read every comment and can consistently keep my unresponded comments to ānoneā, but I would love if you guys made that even more of a challenge!

Whatād YOU think of the finale if youāve seen it?
Oi! No spoilers, but I did watch the finale recently and have been taking a short break from videos while I work on stories Iām writing and think about it. (I canāt make a video with clips from it until itās released on YouTube)
Just curious what those whoāve seen it honestly thought, and I encourage an explanation in the comments! Iāve got a video in the works to talk about it right after I do a quick one about Pomni. Canāt wait to get back into this, and socially after Iāve hit 1,000 subs!

New video speculating about possible TADC endings coming out soon! I'm trying to get it out a decent amount of time before the episode drops, but difficulties. Regardless, this is going to be my longest TADC video yet and I've had a lot of fun putting this one together so far.
I'm not just talking about the "most likely" endings in this video, though I've got that too, I'm talking about a great variety of endings that, while they do have backing, are sometimes just for fun (especially what I'm calling the "Well What the Heck Do I Do With That Ending". I can't describe what a trip it was to come to that one, and it's inclusion is almost entirely entertainment value.)
However, I'm also addressing what Gooseworx tells us the theme of the Amazing Digital Circus is supposed to be: "There's Meaning to be Found in a Stagnant Life."
I have mixed feelings about this message as a theme, and I hope I did a well-enough job explaining why in the video, but I was curious what y'all thought of this theme, or if you'd even heard Gooseworx proclaimed that this is what it is. Tell me in the comments!

Well guys I'm not totally sure what to do right now.
The repost for my most recent Caine video didn't work. They were still giving me 2 impressions an hour so I just put the old one back up.
Plus, now the entire final episode for the series has been leaked. I was JUST about to write the script for a video talking about the themes of possible endings, but that doesn't hold the same weight when people already KNOW how it ends.
Essentially, I'm just asking what you guys want to see. Should I just keep doing short character videos that ignore what we know about episode 9? Should I go ahead with the possible endings video? Should I just look to other subjects until the official release? If so, what subjects?
If I can get a couple ideas in the comments on this post, maybe I'll take the most liked one. Otherwise, I might do a poll.
PLEASE NO SPOILERS! I, like so many others, am trying to wait for the official release to experience episode 9.

Re-Upload Notice! Please help!
For those who were not aware, my most recent Caine video got claimed and they turned off viewership for 9 hours without notifying me. My dispute over the claim succeeded but the damage was done and it's momentum was absolutely destroyed as you can see from the image.
I will be re-uploading the video with minor changes to avoid another claim and I need you guys to rewatch the video, even just leave it playing if you don't want to rewatch it, as soon as possible after I post it tomorrow so the algorithm knows its good!
I will be posting it at my normal time, 2:00 pm (GMT-5), just so you know. I would really appreciate if you could do this to give the video a chance and help it reach more people!
I've made the old video private for now and if this doesn't work I'll just put the first one back up, but hopefully this works! š¤

I just wanted to thank yāall for the crazy growth Iāve gotten lately with my most recent video getting over 250 subscribers and climbing. Thatās enormous for my climb to 1,000!
Iām so lucky to be growing as fast as I am and I didnāt want that to go unanswered. This is why I got better mic recently. Yāall are making this possible!
Next Caine video will probably be early next week and as always I canāt wait to show you what Iāve been cooking up!
