This channel was previously known as Trekking Exploration. The name has changed to better reflect the shared history, slower pace, and place-based storytelling that now defines the channel.

Ladybower Reservoir is at its lowest levels since 2022, revealing an incredible amount of the landscape that has been hidden beneath the water.
And once again, the ruins of Derwent Hall and the lost village of Derwent are emerging from the reservoir.
I headed back to Ladybower to see exactly what has been revealed this time — and there is a LOT to see.

THE WORST RAILWAY HOUSE IS UP FOR SALE…
At first glance, this might look like an abandoned old house.
But this building has a fascinating railway history dating back to 1848, and generations of railway workers once lived here.
Today, it's in a very different state — and it's now heading to auction.
I went to take a look at Bleasby Station House and discovered the story behind this remarkable old railway building.
And believe me… the inside is something else. 👀
