My friends, first, thank you for the incredibly warm welcome back! Soooo many of you have sent kind messages, and it means a great deal to me.

For the next couple of weeks, you’ll see a Short video from me almost every day. These are little trailers for recipes I made a few years ago. Many of you joined the channel after those videos came out, and I’d hate for you to miss a recipe you might really enjoy!

If a Short makes you hungry, tap the Related Video link to watch the complete recipe and cook along with me. Let me know what you think—and whether you discover a new favorite!

Hello, my dear friends,

It has been seven months since my last video. When I stepped away, I truly did not know if I would return. After so many decades in the kitchen and years of weekly filming, I needed time to pause and reflect.

But I have come to realize something very important — I am not finished teaching.

During this break, I continued reading your comments, emails, and messages. Some days there were hundreds. My last video received an astonishing 17,500 comments. Your kindness, encouragement, and loyalty have touched me deeply. Knowing that our recipes and techniques have found a place in your homes and kitchens means more to me than I can adequately express.

Today, our community across YouTube and Facebook is more than 3.5 million strong. That is extraordinary. This channel has always been about solid techniques, a bit of discipline, a touch of humor, and very good food — and I promise you, that recipe has not changed one bit.

I am pleased to announce that I will return this summer — aiming for the first week of July — and begin recording new videos as time permits. We will continue to focus on solid culinary foundations — techniques, classic preparations, practical shopping advice, and perhaps even a few thoughtful Q&A sessions.

Now I would like to hear from you. Is there one particular subject or ingredient you would like me to explore in a detailed masterclass? A deep dive into sauces? A practical shopping guide? Or a specific recipe you have been waiting for? I will record the most requested topic.

Thank you for your gracious patience and your faithful loyalty. And thank you for allowing me to continue doing what I love. It seems that retirement and I are not yet meant for each other. I look forward to seeing you again very soon.

With gratitude,

Chef Jean-Pierre

Hello there, Friends!

Just a quick update about our schedule for the next couple of weeks.

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday—it’s a wonderful time to reflect on everything we have to be grateful for while living in one of the greatest countries in the world.

Now, let’s talk turkey! 🦃
We already have an amazing collection of Thanksgiving recipes on the channel, including 6 turkey recipes, 3 gravies, 4 stuffing's, and 3 cranberry sauces. With so many options, I didn’t want to overwhelm you with more choices this year. Instead, I decided to focus on something equally exciting: new sides and vegetable dishes that will pair beautifully with whatever turkey, stuffing, or gravy you decide to make! You can find all these recipes conveniently in our Thanksgiving Playlist right here:
www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

Plus, if you haven’t seen it yet, we recently posted a video where I review and share my favorite Thanksgiving recipe ideas. It’s a must-watch, if I do say so myself! 😊 Check it out here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYeNK...

Starting this Monday, we’ll kick off our Thanksgiving content with an Amazingly Delicious Acorn Squash Bisque that you won’t want to miss.

And EVERY DAY next week, we’ll be sharing more new recipes to help make your Thanksgiving feast truly special.

We’d love to hear from you! If there’s a recipe you’d like us to create, let us know in the comments.

Happy cooking, my friends, and let’s make this Thanksgiving the best one yet!

We sincerely appreciate all of you who reached out with your concerns and kind words. Rest assured, we are doing well and are fully committed to restoring everything to normal. We expect to be back to 100% within the next 24 to 48 hours.
