Bo Johnson

Hey folks.

My sincere apologies that shows this weekend in San Diego are being moved to December 18th and 19th.

I was offered a short notice career opportunity I need to take. I really wish it didn’t coincide with shows that have been marketed for months. I can’t say more than that, but it’s one of those rare times in life where if I didn’t see this opportunity through it would have been a “what if” forever.

It’s amazing and surreal to me that folks are buying tickets in advance to see me perform live and that’s not something I take for granted. I’m sorry for the disruption in weekend plans this will cause for all of the ticket buyers.

If you purchased a ticket you should have already received an email from the club detailing the same information below: All tickets for San Diego will automatically be transferred to the new weekend. If the new dates no longer work with your schedule you will be able to receive a full refund from the comedy club.

lol a fair reason to not make it to my Houston shows tonight and tomorrow. Sunday in New Orleans, my first time ever performing there!

A total honor to get to headline the weekend at Punch Line SF, a truly legendary club with an incredible history. And I couldn’t have asked for a hotter crowd to close out the weekend at Punch Line Sacramento this past Sunday, truly the best comedy club next to a mattress store in the country (sincere). Thanks to everyone who came out, it truly meant a lot. Always feeling the love with these west coast shows ❤️

1 & 1/2 day turn around and I’m back on the road again. Oklahoma City tonight, Springfield MO tomorrow, & Tulsa Friday-Saturday! Next week Bozeman MT & Seattle (almost sold out).

Life has been moving so fast I never took the time on here to say how much fun I had in Colorado! Comedy Fort in Fort Collins is just a perfectly built room for comedy and Denver is one of the only cities in the country that sold out for me months in advance with zero paid advertising. The energy across all four Denver shows there was just impeccable and one of my favorite comedy weekends in memory. Truly left floating after those 6 shows across Colorado, back to Durango in the fall!

Two shows into my run in San Francisco all weekend at the legendary Punch Line SF comedy club with Sacramento on Sunday to cap it off. Early show in SF tonight is sold out and tomorrow’s early is close! Next week off to Oklahoma City, Springfield MO, and Tulsa where tickets are less than sold out in all of the above!

Lots more new clips coming your way as I find time to edit between touring :)

Totally blown away by this. Wow. Judd Apatow watched my 17 minute lofi multi-media special on IG. Really amazing to see where my little project has reached.

I’ve loved a lot of his work over the years. Freaks and Geeks is one of my all time favorite pieces of media ever. Filled with so much heart, laughter, and more. Had to share this cuz it really has me feeling a certain type of way. Couldn’t have asked for a better cherry on top of an amazing week of shows in Colorado.

PS if you haven’t see it the lofi special is available here on YouTube as well!

I’m turning/turned 34 today! Rang in the start of my in birthday with some old friends, some new friends, and my gf watching the band, The Nude Party, rock hard at Treefort Music fest in Boise, ID. They rocked so hard it felt like the war was over for a moment and a new friend said “Rock and Roll is alive” as we left the venue.

But please learn from my lesson and don’t ask people, “Wanna go to Nude Party at 12:20 with me and my gf” if they don’t explicitly know that’s a band…. Cuz what they will hear is, “Yeah actually I’m a swinger and don’t understand personal boundaries or professional relationships” lol. Gonna spend the rest of the day listening tunes and performing at a rad little theatre later this evening.

Each year lately time feels like it moves differently. It feels like more passes in a year than used to. Maybe that’s just a universal experience with aging. But I do think some of it is all of the travel. When you visit 60+ cities in a year it can feel like 3 years passed in one.

Really proud of the things I accomplished during my 33rd year. I put out my debut hour on YT, a lo-fi multimedia special, and kept touring my little butt off. It’s been especially amazing to see the special connect with some people around the world. Really proud of the way this new hour has started to take shape on the road. So much more I want to accomplish but it’s wild to think that so much of the stuff I was hoping would come to pass over a decade ago has started to slowly become a reality with hours and hours of hard work that often doesn’t feel like work. Also grateful to have a wonderful little life back home that I get to come home to after days on the road.

Being on this page and watching my little clips is enough. But if you feel like doing anything else as a little birthday gift to me:

- Watch my hour long special or share it with a friend who you think might enjoy my work.
- Join my mailing list in the link for updates on bigger releases or to know if I’m touring near you.
- Send some coffee money to my Venmo handle @bojohnsoncomedy and I promise I will use it to continue to invest in creative projects over time
- Swipe for tour dates and tell a friend about me in a city I’m going to

Thanks for being here, I wouldn’t have a career without the folks that have chosen to closely or casually follow my page <3
