Guys… I might have to switch sketchbooks 😭

The paper is absorbing the alcohol marker ink a lot more differently than the past sketchbooks I’ve used (by the same brand + sketchbook type). I might use this sketchbook for acrylic marker drawings instead 😅

Expect a new sketchbook soon (maybe) !!!

Hey everyone,

Several of you have reached out to me about my channel getting hacked by a bitcoin company and hosting a livestream with it. My boyfriend and I realized what was going on the moment it happened, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry my eyes out last night. This was the very first time it happened, and even now I’m still extremely emotional about it.

Thankfully, I was able to log back in, change my password and enable 2-step verification. It was already turned on before but the hacker both changed my password and turned off verification, so for a while I had no way to get my account back. It was when Google disabled the account (noticed suspicious activity) that I was able to receive the security code with another email and change my password.

I *believe* this is how it happened but I’m not 100% sure:
I received a couple emails from the same person about a copyright strike to the channel. I responded promptly, and they sent me a link leading to the copyright report. I had to put in my channel name and log in to verify that it was me, and I guess throughout that process was when I got hacked. I messaged this person on IG to make sure if it was them that directly emailed me this copyright report, or if it was that bitcoin company and they used this person’s name to cover themselves. Hopefully this will be figured out soon.

I’m SO grateful and fortunate to have my channel back, and sadly there are other channels experiencing these same hackers that aren’t able to recover their channels. So please double, triple, quadruple check the links you receive in your emails! Be extra cautious and stay safe online 🩷

⭐️ Pencil: Prismacolor Col-Erase pencil
⭐️ Eraser: rubber kneaded eraser you can find at any art supply store
⭐️ Alcohol Markers: I use a variety but the main ones I love using right now are Ohuhu, Hotu, & Sanjoki
