Empire of Pareena

The Armour of Contempt.

I'm very happy with how this Indukteii turned out I just had to share it. As of recently, I've begun developing a new universal base system for my dragon drawings. Drawing costumes and uniforms takes a lot of time, especially to get the tiny details, check size and scaling, and add that Imperial flair.

So, by having a simple base system of all the Winglets I can spend more time drawing the uniform. And this Indukteii is a successful addition thanks to my base system.

But I've made some other method changes as well.

Typically when I draw my Indukteii. I usually chop up the armour and rearrange it over a new body. It's why all my current Indukteii art manage to look exactly the same, despite being on different bodies.

With this Icewing being my break down diagram for my Indukteii episode, I spent the time to draw the under padding, called Armour doublet.

Typically I draw the armour first, then Armour doublet second, just peaking out, under the armour itself.

But in this Icewing Indukteii, I've done the opposite and it looks fantastic.

I've drawn the armour doublet, then layered the armour rig on top as it technically would look in lore.

Even the helmet is actually accurate to the head. In all my Indukteii drawings. The helmet is not scaled to any dragon's head. Ots just assumed a dragon can fit their head inside the helmet. Well with this Icewing, I've actually overlayed the helmet correctly for the entire head.

This is the most, lore accurate drawing of Indukteii armour to date. And I love it. It's bulky, heavy, and seems uncomfortable.

It completely compliments the lore, perfectly. Just look at these examples

As we know. Indukteii don't fly in open Combat. There is no cover or concealment in the sky.

And frankly why would you want to fly, weighed down by all that armour and equipment. It's why the basic rifle section of the Imperial Army is called a Cavalry Rifle section. Cavalry..... Because they ride on the back of their tanks and dismount in Combat. Even fast roping down if their tanks can land. Anything to get out of the air. Because while dragons are fast and nimble. It would get tiring with all that kit on.

The armour too, now looks thicker and stronger. And it should be. By lore terms. The armour is about 9-12mm thick. And at that thickness, the SSG's standard smalls arms cartridge, the 5.45x39mm would either pancake or ricochet off the armour face. It can't penetrate Indukteii armour. Even 7.62mm would struggle.

But all that armour has its flaws too. Especially up against the Xenowings. A destroyer Hive Warrior, has their carapace grown into their body itself. They wear their armour like it was a part of their scales, heck it practically is. This means they don't need to lug around armour, they are far more agile in combat, tire less, and their ammunition doesn't care for armour thickness. As the flesh eating ammunition fired by Xenowing's small arms, has enough sense to home in on its target's weak points. Like the exposed visor. Fly into the Indukteii's Helmet, and begin to eat through their eyes and hopefully burst through the back of the skull.....

The Mountain Icewing.

No glitter, No gold. The mountain Icewing has rejected all the odd and distracting vices of more common dragons.

For the Mountain Icewing must remain pure of thought and body. For they have but one resource to offer. Themselves.

Icewings in Pareena, are far more numerous among the Imperial Army than any other winglet. And because of that fact this Icewing here will be used in the next exciting episode to demonstrate how a dragon can become an Indukteii and how their equipment and war gear is worn.

The Modern Indukteii is a descendant of the armies of old.

Just which one is the real question.......

Ranks of the Imperial Army and you.

Indukteii show rank on the field of battle through the use of trim and animal antlers. The bigger the antlers. Higher the rank.

But this isn't the only ranks available.

There are still platoon Sergeants, Master Sergeants, Lord commanders and Warmasters yet to be revealed. .....

But

What do you think each rank means? Can you guess their formation?

More Indukteii to come. Stay tuned.

VERY IMPORTANT CHANNEL UPDATE.

If you haven't guessed already by the picture in this post. I'm very proud to announce that I, have a little dragonet on the way.

This of course is life changing. I have new responsibilities, now and way into the future as I support my growing family.

So, what dose this means for the Empire of Pareena. It's lore, episodes and more?

Well, I can say for sure, that I will NOT be stopping my lore episodes. No way, no how. I'm in it to the end. Finish the fight.

But I will be taking my time to produce episodes, so I can give my new son the attention he needs.

Instead of an episode every fortnight, we will be shifting to 1 episode every month.

But that of course depends on how long and how complex the episode is. So some will be out faster.

By also taking my time I can improve quality and my art significantly. Along with reducing burn out.

I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has and is continuing to support the channel, especially with this new transition.

Thank You.

- Heatwave.

‪@dragonridersoffantasy‬ And here we are. I hope I did your character the justice it deserves.

I had a lot of fun with this. The hat kept giving me trouble so I had to make it bigger unfortunately.

But once you said Pirate, I thought I should add towards that theme.

I do hope you enjoyed it.

Remaster upon Remaster. But where to start?

It's no secret that my new episodes are far better to watch than the older episodes as I've improved the quality of each episode.

And it's no secret that all episodes before the War of Unification series, will be treated to new lore, art and production quality.

I'm choosing so now. To start the total remaster of my older episodes before moving on to new topics because frankly I don't want to confuse any newcomers to the lore.

So. As the best audience ever.

What early episode should be remastered first?

The three Sisters, and the origins of Pareena.

The introduction to the Imperial Army and its backbone, the Indukteii.

Or .....

An actual, semi quick (because a standard episode around here is basically an hour long ...oops....) introduction to the Empire of Pareena itself, for those newcomers to understand the Empire before getting lost in the madness that is her lore.
