MLP G6 NEWS SPOILERS !

Okay so I’ll be honest I saw the spoilers floating around online so the majority of what they showed was already spoiled to me. Let’s start with the positives. I love the designs for both the ponies and the logo. It definitely gives off that fantasy magical vibe. I can’t wait to see it animated. Next, I personally really like the main theme song. I love pop songs so I had no problem with it. I’ve seen some fans dislike it but I think it mainly comes down to what type of genre of music you listen to. I feel like some fans take it a bit far when they say it sounds like AI music. Now, if someone online proved that it was AI that would be a different story. Finally, I wanna talk about what they recently said in an interview, like fim it seems like it’s going to be a mix of slice of life, mainly focusing on the characters and personal growth and adventure, so word building and lore! I really like that. I’m always a sucker for not only the exploration of the characters and the journey they go on but also lore based stories. Now let’s move on to the negatives. I’m not sure I like that it’s going to be only 9 minutes. World building in such a short time is a challenge. Not to mention they said they’ll have a overarching storyline. But I’m giving them some benefit of a doubt because tell your tale was mostly five minutes and there were some great episodes. Next, why would they not include applejack and rarity in the reboot 😭. If you’re gonna do a full on reboot bring them all back. It just feels weird not including them. Personally, if you wanna have four characters I’d recommend just having new characters instead of leaving two of them out. Overall, I don’t want to judge so soon. The creators themselves are fans and I wanna give this generation a chance before dismissing it. But what are your thoughts? What did you like or what did you dislike?
