sooo, i think it's time for me to take a little step back from youtube. not a dramatic goodbye, don't start playing sad background music just yet. π i'll still post sometimes whenever my last two brain cells decide to give me an editing idea, and i'll try my best to reply to you guys on pinterest too. but i don't think i'll be as active as i used to be.
lately, youtube just hasn't felt the same. the ideas are missing, my motivation has packed its bags and left without informing me, and honestly, i've been feeling a little disconnected. i miss how things used to be. i miss the excitement, the random interactions, the stupid conversations and all those little moments that probably meant more to me than you guys realise. seeing people leave, especially someone i've always loved having around, makes it feel even weirder.
i used to call this place my home, but lately, it feels like i'm just a visitor. when did that happen?
but i'm not leaving with any regrets. i'm so, so grateful for every person i've met here. some of you were literally random strangers on the internet and somehow became people i genuinely care about. HOW DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN?? π thank you for making this little corner of the internet feel special. thank you for supporting my silly edits, tolerating my nonsense and being part of my life.
i wish i could continue my series, 'zealiaaa's day β‘', forever, but it makes me sad knowing that i can't. it was such a little part of my channel, but it meant so much to me.
i don't know what zealiaaa is going to look like from now on, but i hope it stays a happy little memory for all of us. and PLEASE don't become strangers, i'll actually come to your houses (respectfully).
