Its been a while, 2026 starts in no better position than the end of 2025 for PC gaming. But rather than been annoyed at the current situation, its time to actually get on and enjoy the things we already have.

I have a new video coming out tomorrow (Monday 19th Jan 26) @ 14.45 . This game will run on almost any system and its worth picking up.

There was no video today as I spent the whole weekend looking for cars for my daughter. We looked at a lot, came to the conclusion we needed to up the budget.

In life we have these ideal thoughts of exactly how we want things to be. Manifesting is all over the internet, and I am definitely more spiritual than I ever used to be.
But the reality is that dreaming about things, does not make them happen.

The channel has not gone in the direction that I wanted this year because of a number of things. On the whole it’s down to me, because let’s face it I am the channel, it’s only me doing it.

I’m not going to lie, with work and many other factors, I’ve thought about not bothering with the channel anymore.

Then I got an email saying that I’m not far off a million views. That really surprised me. In the grand scheme of things big wows. But hold up, nearly one million people have watched me on the internet. I find that incredible.

That’s made me realise, it’s to much hard work to throw away.

Life may not be going how I’d like it, but there is an audience out there that needs entertaining. To get back to you, I need to make some changes.

So thank you for your inspiration and support 🙏🏻

To my subs,

I’d like to allude to my YouTube channel currently being like the episode of South Park (S17E8) where they take the piss with the promise that dragons are coming.
2025 I was supposed to get a 5090 FE and get stuck in and really start doubling down on content. Well it’s March and what the ‘F’ happened.
Disappointment from the PC gaming industry as a whole has put a massive damper on things. The expense it has become is making me question if it’s really worth the costs.

Then new sims and games launch, they’re not even up to a polished standard. The start to this year has just been a bit meh.

Thats not to say that better things are still yet to come. See I told you 😝

I’ve recently joined a gym. I’ve been on a waiting list since January, so it’s good to finally put plans into motion, albeit the 2 month delay.

Having not been for some time, and being a bit older now, it’s no surprise how much strength I have lost. The fitness level not so bad, certainly not where It used to be.

With the gym bug biting, I want to get some of that sharpness back. It will be a win win, all round.

The new motorsport season is upon us, so that’s even more motivation to get content flowing again.

Just keep your eyes on X, I’ll let you know when a new video drops.

Things at some point will come together.

Hey there,

No RTX 5090 FE for me, or practically any one else tbf.
They were in very limited supply, this came as no surprise. I will try and pick one up as long as the price stays below 2K. Over that I’m not interested.
Sadly though, tariffs are coming, prices are expected to rise.
I did say in one of my videos that the smart person would look to the 5080Ti, but this is some time away and I expect as of the last two generations of GPU, the performance will be nerfed as compared to the 90 cards.

Shame AMD is not competing at the 90 level, as I feel Nvidia got everything revved up, but stalled before the lights even went Green ;)

5080 is disappointing, I would not advise to buy, as prices may drop with AMD competing in that space. All one can hope is that the stack comes down like before.

Problem is, 5090 is a cheap production card, it will be gobbled up by non gamers, so will sell regardless to price.

Gamers can’t get a break these days heh.

Good evening,

I’ve been testing Assetto Corsa Evo. My initial stint was actually quite good. That’s after I got the wheel working, but not sure the clutch was doing its job.
I’m really impressed with the handling, I’ll go deeper into this in my upcoming video. The speed feel, and different surfaces are much improved.

Post the patch that gave me so many cars, VR has become unplayable. Trying to use FSR to boost performance causes warping and ghosting and looks like many images overlayed over each other.

Turning off FSR and rebooting the game\sim gets VR working, but it is very choppy. The actual performance of the game\sim lags every now and then, the frame rate in VR is not high enough.

Not sure what the patch did as it was only small, but it ran much worse after.

I get this is early access, and there is a trade off for the cheaper price, so my pitch forks are in the shed.

A lot of things need improvement, for example the mustangs tyres seem to have no grip as compared to other road cars. Shame as the Porsche for example, seems like a dialled in race car in contrast.

I’ve turned it off for now, and will try again at the weekend. I have had a brief taste of brilliance, but pointless trying to pursue the current state of play.
