Do you know the time difference? ⏰
Germany changes its clock twice a year because of Daylight Saving Time, but Nepal doesn’t!
🕒 Nepal is 4 hours 45 minutes ahead of Germany.

NOT EVERY VISA STORY HAS A HAPPY ENDING 🇩🇪
We often share visa approvals, success stories, and students preparing to begin their new journey in Germany.
But the reality is that not every visa application gets approved. Sometimes, we also need to talk about visa refusals — because understanding the reasons behind them can help future applicants prepare better.
📌 In this post, we explain some common reasons why German student visas may be refused:
❌ 1. Unclear Study Motivation
The embassy may have doubts about whether studying is genuinely the applicant’s primary purpose.
💰 2. Financial Concerns
Insufficient or unconvincing evidence of the ability to cover tuition fees and living expenses.
🎓 3. Unjustified University Choice
Difficulty explaining why a particular university or course was chosen, especially when the tuition fees are high compared with the applicant’s financial situation.
🗣️ 4. Weak Interview Preparation
Inconsistent answers or an inability to clearly explain the study plan, course choice, and financial arrangements may raise concerns.
📄 5. Incomplete or Unconvincing Documentation
Missing documents or evidence that does not adequately support the application can create problems.
⚠️ Important: Every visa application is assessed individually. These are possible reasons, not a checklist that automatically determines whether a visa will be approved or refused.
💡 Our advice: Don't focus only on getting admission. Understand your course, prepare your financial evidence, and be ready to explain your academic and career plans clearly and honestly.
At The German Guy (TGG), we believe that sharing both success stories and setbacks helps students make more informed decisions.
