hasn’t even been a week since the case became public and people are already defending the men saying that jane doe consented. mind you she was already under the influence while agreeing to sex with only two of the men. drunk consent is not consent. even if she agreed to sleeping with some of the men, she did not consent to sleeping with seven of them for seven hours.

the cornell 7 case is so fucking disgusting. i’ve lost all hope for humanity honestly because what do you mean this poor woman was assaulted for seven hours, drugged by her own friend and all that happened to TWO of the men was getting expelled. the others wrote essays and got away with it. one of the men? currently in pre med. around female patients. 57 men were in that snapchat groupchat and not a single one stepped forward for this innocent woman. this case happened in 2024 and only NOW is light being shone on it. violence against women is so normalized and i am so disgusted by it. “not all men” but enough. i hope this woman gets the justice she deserves and all seven of those scumbags rot in the depths of hell.
