Betty is pretty vocal about not wanting to make small talk, but she does enjoy coming over for dinner and telling me about her adventures. She really does have some tales to tell!
She calls me 'kid' a lot, but it is a term of endearment rather than being condescending. She may come off as abrasive, but I can see she is enjoying company and leading a team here.
I'm very glad we met her.
