So its been a hectic couple of weeks and we've not managed to get out!!! Work and life have got in the way but we are back in the game and will be back out this weekend for a couple of sessions.
I attended the Penn Crouch open which was great but the fishing was terrible so what should have been a good video ended up with fish less video. We can put it out for those who wish to see what its about so let us know and we'll upload.

So after a long weekend in South Wales, I came home just in time to collect the Bretons SAC 'Club Championship' title along with the 'Most Species Cup' not only am I proud of myself but more so for Brodie taking the best club junior trophy 👏
All round a great few days for Team Catch of the day UK with hopefully many more to come.

This weekend me and Brodie MIGHT be back on board the Kraken!! Also heres a quick look at our little boat, me and my cousin will take her for a trial run this weekend weather permitting and then next weekend the Brodsta will be skipper for the day 🤞 the weather doesn't put a stop to this weekends plans.

So my last trip had me on a species hunt and although I never caught any monsters the 5 different species I did catch that day gave me the overall win for species caught 2026 with my boat fishing club 'Bretons Sea Angling' so overall it was a great day.

Back on the boat again tomorrow out of Eastbourne, this is the last trip of the calender year and Im in need of 5+lb in weight and a couple of new species to put me in position for a trophy.
With what's been coming out recently im fancying trying for a hound on the rising tide for me weight, then some smaller species during slack and if it comes off spend the rest of the trip looking for something a little bit bigger.
Wheres our boat anglers at, how would yous go for it?

Road trip over and we are back home, we are both absolutely shattered!!!
Fishing wasn't the best, but we had such fun in that sweltering sunshine.
We fished 7 marks across two locations both day and night.

So what a week for the channel!!!
After a not so good weekend with the wind weed and lack of fish the channel got some good news!!!
