You guys have probably seen me using Photone on the channel before to check the light levels around my plants and grow lights.

Just a little update because I missed yesterday's upload, and I didn't want to disappear without saying anything.
The last couple of weeks have been a bit chaotic getting everything ready before I head off on holiday from 1st to 14th July. On top of that, we've been having a bit of a heatwave here in the UK, and my conservatory has been sitting at 37 to 38°C with around 70% humidity most days. Safe to say it's not the easiest place to film right now! 😅 Between that and spending several hours a day watering 600+ very thirsty plants, I've simply run out of time to film as much as I'd hoped.
The good news is there will still be a new video this Sunday, and then I'll be posting one video each Sunday while I'm away. It's not quite the schedule I'd planned, but I'd rather bring you videos I'm happy with than rush them out.
Thank you, as always, for being such an understanding and supportive bunch. It genuinely means a lot. 💚

On a more planty note… I’ve started a little experiment, that I mentioned in a recent video 👀 Two Calathea (Goeppertia) roseopicta ‘Crimson’ in the exact same spot, one in the original soil mix, the other in straight orchid bark. Let’s see if we can break a few “rules” and get away with it.
And for a bit of irony… the Philodendron esmeraldense (yes, that one 😅) is now blooming. Two blooms, one open and one on the way. Turns out it’s not doing too badly after all.
Quick heads up as well, I’m on jury service for the next two weeks. Videos will still be going up and I’ll still be replying to comments, just might be a bit slower than usual as I’ll be juggling that with work in the evenings.
