🚨 2026 VOLKSWAGEN VIRTUS FACELIFT UNVEILED! 🇩🇪

Volkswagen is gearing up to refresh its popular midsize sedan with sportier styling, updated lighting and potential feature upgrades!

Here’s what’s changing:

🔥 Exterior: Redesigned LED headlamps, connected front LED light strip, revised DRLs, sportier bumpers, new alloy wheels and sharper LED tail lamps.

🖥️ Interior: Expected upgrades could include a larger digital instrument cluster, updated infotainment system, powered driver’s seat, improved ambient lighting and additional technology.

⚙️ Engine Options (Expected to Continue):
▪️ 1.0L TSI: 115 PS & 178 Nm
▪️ 1.5L TSI EVO: 150 PS & 250 Nm

🔥 Possible BIG Upgrade: The 1.0L TSI automatic could get an 8-speed gearbox instead of the current 6-speed automatic. However, this is yet to be officially confirmed.

💰 Expected Price: Starting around ₹12 lakh.
📅 Expected Launch: December 2026.

🚨 DRIVING LICENCE RULES IN INDIA COULD CHANGE! 🚗🇮🇳

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has proposed changes to India’s driving licence rules. Here’s what you need to know 👇

1️⃣ LEARNER’S TEST: The proposed passing score for the safe-driving tutorial assessment would increase from 60% to 75%.

2️⃣ Applicants would need to complete a safe-driving tutorial lasting at least 30 minutes.

3️⃣ The tutorial window would increase from 7 to 15 days. After completing it, applicants would have 7 days to take the Learner’s Licence Test.

4️⃣ The proposed format includes additional fields for medical details, emergency contacts and organ-donor status, plus a QR-code-readable zone.

5️⃣ Electricity and household gas bills used as address proof would need to be no older than 3 months.

6️⃣ Indian and foreign nationals would have separate licence formats with different background colours.

7️⃣ Proposed Form 2A would cover services such as renewals, duplicate licences and personal-detail changes. Authorities would have 15 days to approve or reject licence-detail update applications.

8️⃣ The draft proposes fee waivers for specified Aadhaar-authenticated online services and certain personal-detail changes. Not every service would be free.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: THESE ARE PROPOSED CHANGES, NOT NECESSARILY RULES ALREADY IN FORCE.

The draft was published in the Gazette on 21 October 2026. Final implementation depends on subsequent official action.

📌 India becomes the 1st market outside Europe to manufacture the Defender. Local production is expected to reduce waiting periods and improve availability.
