I think many don't realize how much fun it is out there in the winter, as long as you come properly dressed and equipped 🙂 picture is from a couple weeks ago on November 1, which ended up being my first wintry hike of the year. Mount Equinox in Manchester, VT. And yes I did just fine in my trail runners even though I had my spikes in my bag just in case. It was a bit slippery though.
