Small update: the big gap in my video uploads is partly due to a break i took in beginning of June (I played all of Mina the Hollower and FF5), and partly due to there not being much to talk about in hsr right now. If you saw my previous community post about content ideas, Im storing some ideas for after 4.4 coverage, so stay tuned for that!
I’m currently working on Himeko Nova’s video, aiming to have it out close to the 4.4 livestream day (next friday) if not one or two days afterwards. Then, expect shorter videos on the fate units as I want to try a new format out with them. Im planning on keeping the pull priorities as shorts like i did this patch, but we’ll see how things turn out when it comes time to actually talk about the banners.
Im antsy to return to consistent uploads, but its gonna be a bit longer until im formally back, so thanks for your patience! In the meantime, I’ll be hosting an HSR pvp livestream event with Chewy this weekend, so look out for that! Hooray!
Hey yall! Normally I’d make an announcement like this on my discord, but I figured there’d be a lot of people asking in general so I’ll make it here:
I am around 70% done with my 4.3 Pull Priority video, and I’m in a very awkward spot where I straight up am not satisfied with how it is turning out. Its not terrible, but not up to the standards that I want for this channel, frankly. Maybe part of that has to do with how binary the units in this patch are with their pullability and investment priority, which led to a rather straightforward uninteresting discussion. I think it might also have to do with my general fatigue not entirely recovering after just how big the Mortenax video ended up being (I am very happy with how that video turned out but MAN was it a lot), which basically meant I was doing the bare minimum in terms of editing. Either way, I dont think I’ll be releasing this video.
Making videos with an unengaging script and a lack of creativity editing wise is not something I’d intentionally move forward with, if not for the fact that pull priorities are a usual scheduled thing on this channel. But, as I will be discussing in an update video in the coming weeks, that structure that my content has been bound to for the last year-ish is going to be changed up anyways in some way shape or form. So with that in mind, Im figuring why not start changing things up now.
Also for the sake of not being obtuse or ambiguous, no I’m not planning on quitting youtube or anything like that, but there will be some changes and scaling back on some things both due to my own wants for this channel and due to irl life stuff. Again, I’ll talk more about this in the next week or so with a short update video, so wait until then to hear more, I guess lol.

I currently have no plans on doing a full guide on Ashveil after his teammate tier list (which is around 70% done and will likely be up around Wednesday-Thursday). There’s multiple reasons for this:
1. I’m feeling a good amount of burnout coming out of 4.0, and I want to be as ready as I can be for 4.2 as I want to cover as much as possible (which will be dicey since its likely to be a 3 person patch). So giving myself more time to prep while also having more time to mental reset feels right for me.
2. I am currently a bit unsatisfied with the current format of doing both a teammate tier list and a guide for each unit, as there ends up being a lot of repeated information, which is both frustrating to make and I imagine frustrating for people who watch both vids. I am still planning on doing guides for 4.2 units, but I also want to experiment with other formats that can better my work flow and output.
3. As a compromise and as part of said experiment, I will be releasing some Ashveil shorts on how to build and how to play him, covering the same points that I would have in his guide, so he will still get that type of coverage, just not in the form of a full guide.
4. Ashveil’s pre release cycle in general has been not too fun to work through, and while I dont think any of my frustrations will last much past his teammate tier list’s release, I am still just generally unenthusiastic about covering him too much, frankly. I do really like him as a unit and as a character, but that doesn't always transfer to excitement towards making content.
In general I’d chalk this up to wanting to prevent fatigue and being ready for 4.2, I’ve also had to deal with moving houses after the Sparxie guide’s release, and while the majority of the issues surrounding that have been dealt with, it’s still slowed me down more than I had anticipated. I apologize that I’m not able to deliver on this like many of you had hoped, I like having streaks of not missing character videos, but ultimately, these videos are a one man project, so I want to take my stamina and fatigue seriously.
(I’ll still do the Pull priority for 4.1 BTW dont worry about that)

Real quick as a channel update I am back from a short break (that was partly Christmas and partly the HSR content drought) and will be uploading my next vid either tomorrow or Friday! It’ll be another Bag yap fest, so for those of you who asked for more of that, I hope you enjoy.
But besides that, I want to thank all of you for an absolutely insane year for this channel. We went from 5.5k to 35.5k, which is more than I had ever hoped of achieving. I dont want to say the same sappy message everytime we hit a milestone (I’ll try and mix it up when we eventually hit 40k), but seriously, thank you all so much for your support.
I’m one of those creators that cringes at everything I’ve made thats over 2 months old, so I can’t exactly look back at most of my uploads this year with much pride, but I can take pride in the improvements that I’ve made with my video creation. I tend to be more happy with what I put out now compared to 6 months ago, and I hope that trend continues in the future.
Now, looking towards next year, I don’t have much concrete to say as to where this channel will head. I have absolutely no plans on stopping my content production anytime soon, and so long as I stave off burnout, I intend to keep making content for as long as its feasible to do so. There may be gaps in uploads (like there is right now) that are either due to IRL stuff or burnout (or both), and while I do always feel bad about gaps like these, I think its safe to say that they will continue in some form going into next year. In my perfect world I would upload consistently once a week, but I will at least commit to uploading as much as I can, however much that ends up being on a month to month basis. The hope is that other content such as livestreams fills in those gaps if you want more content from me, but if thats not your thing then I hope you can be patient with my schedule lol.
But if next year is anything like this year has been, then I dont think there’s anything to worry about. The growth this year has really been life-changing, and I don’t think I can accurately put how thankful I am that you all have given me this opportunity. Alright enough yapping, see yall in 2026!

Now that we are done with the Amphoreus story (for now), how do you OVERALL feel about how 3.0-3.7 has affected the game's health? This can be in all aspects, story, events, the endgame, controversies, whatever.

(and there was no 3.7 second half unit for me to cover in this time as well). It usually lines up where I begin to burnout right when theres a natural gap in things to cover anyways, but uhh I needed a larger break than usual this time, which lined up with the larger gap in things to cover! Hooray!
Im slowly getting back in the swing of things now, so expect 2 videos coming out in about a week, and the usual The Dahlia coverage the week after that. Thank you for your patience!
So as an update to my previous community post, you might notice that Im not live for the Dahlia's kit drop, this was a last minute decision but I do ultimately think I wont be live for pre-release kit updates, at least for the near future. I will be talking about my thoughts on her kit in my next livestream, which will be tomorrow while I play the new anomaly arbitration from 3.7.
I've also made the difficult decision to not make formal pre-release videos while I have this strike on my channel. As I've said before, this channel is extremely important to me, and while the 3.8 pre-release cycle was one that I was REALLY looking forward to covering, I wouldn't want to do so at the risk of this channel's existence. Her teammate tier list and guide will still come out at their normal times, but I hope you can understand the precaution I'm taking, as I'm not taking it lightly.
I hope to be able to return to the channel's normal groove at some point, but the thing I keep telling myself is that I'm ok with slower growth and less normal videos if it means the channel is safer. On that note, expect more videos in between now and The Dahlia Teammate Tier list, as there'd normally only be her pre-release coverage during this time, but now I have the freedom and time to tackle some ideas that have been on my mind for a long time.

To take preventative measures to make sure this channel isn't in danger, I've decided to unlist any other pre-release videos that I've made for the time being.
I still plan on making content for The Dahlia in the same relative format, but there will be a bit of changing stuff around to try and ensure that the video is able to stay up. But yeah, apologies if my video catalog is looking a bit thin (and mostly just of teammate tier lists and guides), but I'd take that thinning if it means not getting struck again.
