An early pencil drawing for the final scene of The Storm — an illustrated poem I’ve been developing. After everything that happens, this is where the story ends.

Digitally retouched from an old scan.

Over the last nine months I've been adapting it into an animated film using AI alongside traditional digital tools.

Every story begins again.
The Loop began as a poem.
It still is.
Over the last year I've been adapting that poem into an animated film, using AI alongside more traditional creative tools to bring its world, its characters, and the mythology and folklore at its heart to life.
These are the first official production stills introducing Elowen Maya DeGrey.
A modern telling of an ancient ritual.
