💬 LET'S SETTLE THIS!

MUST YOU CONTRIBUTE BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE IS CONTRIBUTING? 🤔

THE STORY:

At a workplace, the staff decided to contribute ₦5,000 each to celebrate their manager's birthday.

Everybody agreed, but one female staff member politely said she couldn't contribute because she had some urgent family expenses.

Unfortunately, some of her colleagues started calling her stingy and unfriendly.
Interestingly, just two months earlier, when another colleague had a naming ceremony, this same woman contributed ₦20,000 without complaining.

When she heard what they were saying about her, she became angry and said, "So because I helped someone yesterday, I must have money to contribute today?

THE BIG QUESTION:
Is it compulsory to contribute money whenever colleagues or friends organise a celebration?
Should people be allowed to say NO without being judged?

LET'S SETTLE THIS!
A. She is right. Nobody should be forced to contribute.
B. She should contribute something, even if it is less than ₦5,000.
C. If she cannot contribute, she should stay out of the celebration.
