I am a retired assistant band director who taught for 34 years for the Mansfield City Schools in Mansfield, OH. In addition, I play trombone for various music ensembles in the northeastern Ohio area.
On my channel, I will feature the following:
1) The Mansfield Senior High School/Malabar High School Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, & Choir video/audio recordings in Mansfield, OH so that alumni of these programs (and other interested people) can have access.
2) Any Mansfield City Schools Middle school or Elementary school events (concerts, speeches, plays, etc.)
3) The Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra audio/video recordings of the past.
4) Classic local & national radio/TV commercials and features.
5) Classic local & national radio/TV newscasts, jingles, disc jockeys, station IDs, promos etc.
6) Anything else that I come across that may make your day a little brighter.
My goal for this channel is preservation of audio & video from the past...to prove it all wasn't a dream.

Recently, I've been uploading ABC and Cleveland, OH commercials/promos from 1990. After further research, these ads were actually from 1989. These ads are from an ABC broadcast of the miniseries "Small Sacrifices" starring Farrah Fawcett Majors which, according to online resources, aired in November 1989. I have corrected the year on each post and tags for those posts.

Hi, everyone! Thanks to the November 9, 1989 recording of WUAB Channel 43's "The Prize Movie", I have uploaded roughly 30 Cleveland-area commercials from that broadcast. I uploaded the John Lanigan Prize Movie segments and bumpers a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, due to copyright, I was unable to upload the movie ("St. Helens" from 1981) itself; however, the movie itself is available on YouTube.

Hi, everyone! I'm digging through my Betamax tape collection to post commercials, etc. from the late 1980s/early 1990s. The Sony Super Betamax player that I have does not play the videos in stereo. While the picture is generally good, I had to use a splitter to get the audio to play from both speakers when I was converting the tapes.
