For this outsole stitching process, I took a slightly different approach than before, using polyester thread instead of linen.
The pros and cons of these two options will vary depending on each maker's work style, so one cannot simply be defined as better or worse than the other.
The 'Friends' level is created for us to connect through personal video content that isn't featured on the main channel. The 'Shoemaker' level is designed to share detailed, step-by-step videos of my shoemaking techniques. The 'Master' level will archive videos from the 'Shoemaker' tier after 3 months. Once transferred to the 'Master' tier, these videos will remain accessible for another 3 months before becoming private.

Today is a very peaceful day, although it’s a little windy. Yesterday was cloudy, and the wind was much stronger.
After uploading my last video, I spent about 10 days taking a short break and working on other things before starting a new project.
Yesterday, I made a test upper and completed the pattern for a pair of brogue cap-toe Oxford shoes.
For this upcoming video, I’m trying to capture almost every step of the shoemaking process without worrying about the running time.

Today's work in progress.
Finished the heel building process and clamping it down with a C-clamp right now. Planning to get the heel shaping done by the end of the day.
This project is almost at the finish line!

Today's work in progress.
Closed the channel and hammered wooden pegs into the heel.
It's a very clear, cool, and dry day today.
How is the weather where you live?

I finished the lasting process yesterday.
It was quite difficult to smooth out the wrinkles in the leather on the instep.
This happened because I set the instep too narrow during the pattern making process.
I always realize this while working, but prioritizing the design makes the subsequent steps much harder.
Today, I plan to complete the hand-sewn welting process.
