Calling BTS racist doesn't automatically make ur argument valid just bcuz u keep repeating the word “racist” louder than everyone else. Be fr, let's talk actual facts instead of fan-war edits.

First of all, I'm NOT saying BTS r perfect angels who never made mistakes. I'm an ARMY, not a blind defender. There's a difference between accepting someone's mistakes and acting like those mistakes define their entire character forever.

Let's talk abt the actual controversies.

In 2018, Jimin faced backlash over a shirt featuring an atomic-bomb image, and RM faced criticism over a hat with Nazi-associated symbolism. Big Hit apologized and took responsibility for not properly checking the clothing.

In 2020, Suga's track “What Do You Think?” included a speech sample from Jim Jones, a cult leader. His agency apologized for including it and removed the sample from the track.

These controversies r REAL, and I'm not gonna sugarcoat them just to defend my faves. If smth was wrong, call it out. If ppl were hurt, their feelings deserve to be taken seriously. Period.

But here's the thing: acknowledging a mistake doesn't mean pretending it never happened, and making a mistake doesn't automatically prove someone's entire character forever. U can criticize what BTS did without twisting facts or making claims that go beyond the evidence.

And b4 y'all say ARMYs r just making excuses, let's talk abt the March 2026 controversy.

BTS's animated Arirang trailer faced criticism bcuz it showed a predominantly white audience at Howard University, a historically Black university. Concerns were raised abt representation and cultural sensitivity. That criticism deserves to be heard, not dismissed just bcuz BTS r involved.

But again, criticizing a specific video and claiming u've proved that all 7 members r racist r TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. Be so fr rn.

Lets talk about accountability

Accountability means admitting what went wrong, understanding why it hurt ppl, listening to those affected, and taking responsibility. An apology doesn't magically erase the harm, and nobody is obligated to forgive someone immediately.

But accountability also means judging the situation fairly instead of deciding someone's entire character based on one controversy.

And pls, keep the SAME ENERGY for ur own faves. If u demand accountability from BTS but suddenly start writing whole essays defending ur idols when they face similar criticism, that's not morals, bestie. That's a double standard.

BTS aren't above criticism, and neither r ur faves. I'm not asking anyone to blindly defend BTS. I'm asking ppl to use actual evidence, understand the context, and stop exaggerating claims just to win a fan war.

So bring the receipts, explain what happened, and tell me why u think the evidence supports ur claim. If an apology wasn't enough, explain WHY. If ppl r still hurt, listen to them.

But if ur entire argument is just “BTS r racist, cry abt it,” then bbg, that's not a well-supported argument. That's just a fan-war slogan with zero extra brain cells added.
